Privacy Policy

We only collect information you choose to give us — nothing is gathered automatically in the background. When you fill out a form on our site (for example, a reservation, catering, or contact inquiry), we may collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your address or location, but only when you type it into a form yourself (e.g. for delivery or catering) — we do not use your device's GPS or IP address to track your location

We use the information you give us to:

• Respond to your reservation, order, or inquiry
• Confirm bookings or follow up by phone or email
• Send you occasional updates or promotions, but only if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
• Keep our records accurate and our service running smoothly

We never use your information for anything beyond what you'd reasonably expect from getting in touch with a restaurant.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Your information is stored using Supabase, our database provider, which only processes it on our behalf to run the site. We may also use an email service to send confirmations or updates you've requested. These providers don't use your information for their own purposes — they simply help us deliver our service to you.

We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request from a court or government authority.

We don't use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics tools that follow you across the web. We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't share your activity with ad networks. Any information we have about you comes directly from a form you filled out — not from monitoring your browsing.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including:

• Storing your data in Supabase with row-level security enabled, so information is only accessible to authorized systems and staff — not publicly readable
• Sending emails through a dedicated, authenticated mail domain (mail.negroworldfoods.com.ng) rather than open, unverified channels
• Limiting access to customer data to staff who need it to do their jobs

No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but we don't take this lightly — your information is only used the way we've described in this policy.

We keep your information for as long as it's useful for the reasons described above — for example, to follow up on a booking or respond to an inquiry. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we're required to keep it longer for a legal reason.

You can:

• Ask us what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your information
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time (there's a link in every email we send)
• Contact us with any privacy questions or concerns

Our site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent or guardian's consent, please contact us and we'll remove it.

This policy is governed by the laws of Oyo State, Nigeria. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Ibadan, Oyo State.

We may update this policy from time to time as our business changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. If changes are significant, we'll let you know through the site or by email.
